OPTION #1- BASIC SYSTEM
This is the same equipment used by the national companies who you may have seen doing a lot of advertising on radio and TV. Some imply in their advertising that two-way voice operation is an exclusive feature that they invented. The truth is that two-way voice has always been a standard feature on entry-level panels and is in fact almost never used on larger systems. This panel is a basic self-contained system with all controls including keypad and siren built into one control unit that can be wall mounted or even placed on a tabletop or nightstand if desired. And yes, it does provide two-way voice capability at no additional cost. This system would be a good choice for someone who:

  • Wants a low price.
  • Likes the thought of two-way voice capability.
  • Might move in the near future.
  • Would like to avoid installing any wires.
  • Lives in an apartment or other leased space.
  • Doesn’t plan on using a lot of wireless devices.

TOTAL FOR BASIC SYSTEM INSTALLED $295.00

OPTION #2 – UPGRADE SYSTEM
This option differs from the basic system mainly in that it does not use one self-contained control unit. This has advantages and disadvantages. This system requires the installation of a control panel somewhere on the premises (usually in a closet, utility room, or similar space) and may require running some cables to keypads, sirens, or other hardwired devices. The advantages of this system are that it offers more flexibility in system design and offers a higher level of security because an intruder would have to locate and disable the control panel to disable the system. With a self contained unit all they have to do is locate the keypad and destroy or disable it since all the system controls are built in the same unit. This system would be a good choice for someone who:

  • Doesn’t mind paying a little more for additional features & capacity.
  • Doesn’t care for two-way voice.
  • Isn’t planning on moving or re-locating their system in the near future.
  • Would consider installing some wiring for keypads, sirens, and other devices.
  • Would leave the system in an apartment or other leased space.
  • Might use up to 26 wireless devices.
